![]() SIA "colour the small one" cd,2004 Sia, Aussie songstress, now living in the UK... this is her third album...and released before she went all DJ-ish and club-dance on me.... they called this one electronic-folk when it came out..yeh, electronic beats/instuments, yet folky at the same time.... very haunting lyrics and vocals on this one, with an intimate, vunerable style, maybe like Laura Marling, but nowhere near as good overall... track 2, "sunday" starts off with a familliar intro, not unlike 'strawberry fields forever', do not like that part, but my favourite one here anyway... i used to like this one but time has not fared well on the album IMO, sounds outdated and 'old hat' now,but still several not bad tracks on it... I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM worst track: moon best track: sunday tracks: 1. re-write * 2. sunday ** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prLZc3FbAvE live 3. breathe me * 4. the bully * 5. sweet potato ** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxs1n59azQ4 audio 6. dont bring me down * 7. natalie's song ** http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCHnVtShDxg audio 8. moon * 9. the church of whats happening now * 10.numb * 11.where i belong ** 3s=0 2s=5 1s=6 rating: 1.4 or 4/10

had not heard her listened to your fav at least she explained why she forgot her own lyrics

yeh...i guess the best of them can forget their lyrics....i have Paul McCartney "mtv unplugged" from 1991-ish...Macca forgets the words to 'we can work it out'...makes a joke out of it then restarts the song and he must have sung that one 10,000 times over the decades, go figure???

^ lol......Macca did the same thing in a way for Paperback Writer when I saw him live!...He couldn't guite hit the intro's high register so he stopped the song and started over..almost hit the high notes...hey give em some slack ,he's a senior citizen!...lol
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!
