After getting my Acustic guitar and having problems playing it (Although I've played bass for a good 3 years) I am finally getting the hang of it, just last night I learnt to play Jack Jonhsons' Sitting Waiting Wishing, and I was so giddy when I played it through flawlessly for the first time earlier today.
Just thought I'd post that because I damn near pissed my pants
Anyway, 2nd part of this thread.... Anyone else here play Acustic? And if so what are your favorite songs to play.

Well i play acoustic (Learning it anyway) don't really have a song played or learned yet but im getting their, and one day i "Hope" to form my very own band.

I have an old spanish guitar and i love playing it, some of my favorite songs to play are fingerstyle arrangements of old jazz songs such as Come Fly With Me and Autumn in New York, but lately i've been getting really into playing stuff like the Gipsy Kings

I would recommend you to play Wasting Love - Iron Maiden. It is easy to play (only acoustic part) and when I was a beginner I use to practice this song a lot.

Acoustic guitar is an awesome, awesome instrument. I remember my first song was "Take It On the Run" by REO Speedwagon! Love that song.
