I've been playing this silly but terribly entertaining song pop game and I notice that I always know when it's CCR within like a note or two.

Definitely Pearl Jam who I don't care for due to Vedder's voice !!!!!!

Nickleback, I always thought that with singers voice,

I can usually tell an AC/DC track by the first couple of power chords at the start , although The Darkness have that sound sometimes as well
