Better than I expected. A lot like his non-fiction A Pirate Looks At Fifty. Caribbean island hopping for ex-cowboy Tully Mars. In pursuit of repairing a long abandoned lighthouse. Many cool characters along the way. Among them a ship captain 102 year old woman who hires Tully to assist her in the lighthouse project. Have trouble visualizing her doing the things she does, like climbing the ship mast, but it is fiction, so you go girl. Project gets completed with much adventure along the way and a very nice suprise happy ending. Good read.

Dandelion Wine by Ray Brudbury. Haven't been reading fiction for a while and this book's a real joy after those dealing with eightfold consciousness theory and quantum physics.

Re-reading The Lord of the Rings. I'm almost done with The Fellowship of the Ring. I wish I had more time to read lately. I'm enjoying it again but it's going slow. I will have a movie marathon when I am done.
