Nomination #5: Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde
#1
[Image: 51L4DuYzoXL._SL500_AA300_.jpg]

Track listing:

1 Rainy Day Women #12 & 35
2 Pledging my Time
3 Visions of Johanna
4 One of us Must Know (Sooner or Later)
5 I Want You
6 Stuck Inside of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again
7 Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat
8 Just Like a Woman
9 Most Likely You go Your Way (And I'll go Mine)
10 Temporary Like Achilles
11 Absolutely Sweet Marie
12 4th Time Around
13 Obviously 5 Believers
14 Sad Eyed Lady of The Lowlands

Possesses the dubious distinction of maybe being the first Rock double album.

Recorded with The Hawks - who would later see success in their own right as The Band -this 1966 album took the newly electric Dylan to new heights, whilst simultaneously exploring other musical genres. Rammed to the gills with fine Dylan songs, there's a liberated, celebratory feel to much of this music.

I'd argue that Dylan never reached these artistic achievements again, although fans of Blood on The Tracks would no doubt have something to say about that.

I second this one !
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown.

This one definitely deserves to be included. If I was nominating a Dylan album though, I'd go for 'Desire'.
