My movie experience is largely library catered or YouTube. The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill but came Down a Mountain starring Colm Meany before he was a name is one of my favorites. Warning. The first time you watch it it'll probably seem boring. Hugh Grant co-starred. Also The American President starring Michael Douglas, Michael J. Fox as a supporting character. American Dreamer is a movie recommended to me that I have never been able to track down. (At least in English). Dave starring Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver is good. Watched that one. Ron Howard's Apollo 13. The music is excellent and this is by far an example of near perfect directing. The Englishman who went... is also musically noteworthy as is Star Trek IV The Voyage Home.
It seems to me there are other reccommendations I have but I'm drawing... Sister Act and Sister Act II starring Whoopi Goldberg. Also good. And musically. The Rocketeer. Don't remember any cast members of that one.
A Few Good Men starring Tom Cruz.
Her Alibi starring Tom Sellek.
Back to the Future starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
Back to the Future III starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice starring Nicholas Cage in a supporting role and a new actor whose name I can't remember as the star.
Guarding Tess starring Nicholas Cage.
These are a few that I know of. If you want TV series recommendations I can help there too. But I think a different thread would be good. Wink
