Diabolical. Seriously. We've surpassed our historic July rainfall by more than double with no signs of letting up. Over it now. Pfffft.

So now that the rain has stopped (for how long, who can tell?!) we have snow on our mother the mountain. No wonder it's so icy cold! I'm with Chris Rea on this - and the bonus is that his voice warms you up on the inside ...

just had one full week of perfect Spring weather,

average day temp was 24C/75F, blue skies, no clouds to be seen anywhere
if perfection was a sentence then that would be it!

the last three weeks have been pretty good apart from a couple of wet and wintery days but that on par with what we expect in Spring.

this week looks good with temps reaching 30C/86F by friday...
