4-disc box set of 3 live 1990 dates in New York. It isn't actually the Trio, cos in addition to OP, Herb Ellis (guitar), Ray Brown (bass), & Bobby Durham (drums) were at work.

This was the first proper set of dates that this trio - OP, HE, & RB - had played in over 30 years.

Cracking music beautifully recorded !!

Karen Dalton - In my Own Time

Karen Dalton was an early contemporary of Bob Dylan's who only released a couple of albums before succumbing to substances, and died a few years ago, virtually homeless.

Seems to be undergoing something of a posthumous revival, and I bought this on the strength of a magazine article about her life.

It's a blend of folk, blues, jazz, & country, and her voice is similar to Billie Holiday's.

Well worth checking out.
