I read the news today, oh boy!
so sad to hear the passing of world renowned Conservationist Richard Leakey has died aged 77.

the article: https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/02/world...index.html

his Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Leakey

his biggest claim to fame was the establishment of fenced in National Parks in his homeland of Kenya and highlighting the poaching of elephants.

he was as important to conservationism and naturalism as Sir David Attenborough IMO.

bye-bye Novak...
despite what a lot of the world is reporting about this case by saying he is being deported from Australia because he is not vaccinated, the facts are that he (or his people) lied on visa declarations, period!
just goes to show that just because youre the "world's #1", doesnt mean you should get preferential treatment anywhere.
might just make him think twice before he travels to the US,UK and France for their Tennis Open's later this year!

Had to break my silence briefly to tell you about this fiasco. Two junkies tried to collect a dead relative's pension from the Post Office in a small town in Ireland. They were told he had to be present to get the pay-out. So they went back to the house and dragged the dead guy into the Post Office (now wearing a mask and sunglasses - in winter no less) and tried to pretend he was still alive. They were propping him up between themselves at the counter. Human beings never cease to amaze me at what they are capable of doing. Some people are just plain bonkers.

That is absolutely disgusting and degrading for them to do that,
They obviously have not one ounce of respect for themselves or anyone else, then again, a junkie does what a junkie does to get his next fix so it really doesn’t surprise me half as much as it disgusts me.
