I have a river flowing in front of my place and I feed the birds with leftover bread rolls etc. The minute I open the front door they're out of the trees and down on the bank. I must be predictable as hell.

Absolutely bloody terrible. Sun was out this morning but it was slightly chilly. In the space of a few hours the sky has darkened considerably, temperature has plummeted - feels like it's going to snow, hail, sleet and constant bloody rain. Miserable. Going to make some duck & roast potatoes in goose fat and open a bottle of red. Next feed the flock. Then it's going to be a movie or two and an early night. Painting the kitchen tomorrow - and I absolutely bloody hate painting but I have been putting this off for a while and it needs to get sorted out. No rest for the wicked as they say. The only good thing about painting is the fact that you can put some music on and just escape. Going to have a stab at some classical albums I have but not listened to in years. Maybe I might meet the Ideas Fairy while I am busy.
