in the front yard at 5:30am this morning to water the plants, fill the bird bath and put out the sunflower seeds for the Doves and Magpies.

^^Forgot to mention the actual weather - an absolutely howling gale of a south easter which is perfectly normal for this time of year. Can hardly see any blue water for white horses. Very messy!!

woke up about two hours ago (3:30am) was 27C/80F...
5:30am now and 29C/84F. Gardens all watered. bird bath refilled seed bowl filled for birds Magpies saw/heard me out watering and flew in for their breakfast LOL, they followed me around the garden whilst i watered and were duly fed afterwards. back inside for some English Breakfast Tea and to catch up on the overnight news.... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 9am 35C/95F

my parents live on a 1/3 of an acre block in the Perth hills amongst natural bushland. my dad was telling me during our evening phonecall that both thermometers on his property recorded 46C/115F today
