KAYAK -
Eyewitness
Recorded live but without an audience whose applause they apparently patched in later for the LP but not the CD. I dunno - anyway - the version I listened to doesn't have any audience sounds on it.
It's a selection of songs from various albums and seems to flow ok. Some of them sound a bit dated - in fact it reminded me a lot of John Miles'
Rebel in places - which I'll probably always like but which I expect might not have aged very well either! Will have to listen to that now. Less progressive on the whole - not bad listening - some standouts here and there, one of which is this, originally from their
Phantom of the Night - the single from the album which otherwise doesn't seem to have fared too well ...
And another I enjoyed - "Irene" - an instrumental track -

Ooooh I like this remastered version - reminds me of a lady I knew long, long ago.

One of Elton & Bernie's many masterpieces - a tribute to Edith Piaf - lovely piece.

Listened to John Miles'
Rebel - amazing voice, album engineered by Alan Parsons. May have listened to "Music" one too many times in the past, but after not having heard it for a while, it's clear why it was so popular at the time -

Now it's on to
Pyramid - APP - one of my favourite albums of all time. The cover art seems apt at this time!
The first three tracks ....

I knew a lady many moons ago whose sister did up an alcove of her open plan living room in an Egyptian-themed sort of style. Anyway, I gave her APP's 'Pyramid' as a birthday present. Never did find out whether she ever listened to it or not. She probably thought I was nuts. Fantastic album.

Running on Empty - great album. Not a wonderful clip in terms of quality but nice to see anyway ...

Yes – saw your post – I just put off listening, unaccountably. Sorry

. Took the time today – it’s vintage Jackson Browne alright. Quite contemplative - no four minute moves for him! Thank goodness his voice is still there. He’s in recovery from Covid-19 I see .
The album is due out on October 9th.
I didn't find much wisdom
When time was on my side
Too little information
Too much time to decide
I took a couple of wrong turns
It only takes you one
To send you down a lifetime
Of wonderin' what you might've done
