Marco Rubio impresses me. He's young(44) and fresh...the only alternative to Trump! At 44 he may be considered as too young,,but hey we just elected a 43 year old prime minister! Ben Carter may be able to topple Trump. He's a good choice also. probably their best hope.

As for Hillary, CNN had a report with regards to the FBI investigation regarding her emails....possible charge of espionage ???,,,if that ever happened she has no choice but to withdraw!

As bad as I hate the Clintons though, I hope someone else besides Trump will pull ahead.
I just can't see him as Pres. Steve. He is just a real estate rich dude looking for more
fame as President :rolleyes2:

Thank Trey Gowdy and all for anointing Donnie as your prez!

Don't be too surprised SteveO. That is the exact reason this whole Benghazi Committee exists. Complete waste of taxpayer money.

Before anyone calls me out on it, here's the man who was poised to take over as Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy, explaining the Benghazi Committee to Sean Hannity (and simultaneously destroying his chances of moving up in politics):

Quote:“Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable, right? But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping. Why? Because she’s untrustable. But no one would have known any of that had happened, had we not fought.”

Whole thing's an attempt to destroy Clinton's chances. ~$4.5 million of tax payer money has gone to this investigation. It's unbelievable.

ok...
i'll put my hat in the ring as a non Clinton fan also.

I bet theres as many dirty secrets in their family closet as there are in the Kennedy closets.

if she was in Australian politics she would have been forced to resign now if purely for the 'email scandal'....

No she couldn't. All her being Pres. would mean would be putting Bill in for another term.
Hillary was well coached for the hearings. She got choked up before the end.
She was a pitiful Secretary Of State! Couldn't even finish her term.
Bad time for a woman to be Pres. anyway. Some of the leaders
of the Middle East don't want to talk to a woman.
I do wish Rubio the chance. 44 is not that young. We need to get the oldies out of office!
We need term limits also!

Btw, my prediction of the email scandal is since the Clintons are rich and loved by Clintonites,
she will not be convicted. Hope she will but I don't think so.

you give her far less credit than she deserves Linda...
she WAS President a few years ago....
she has the brains and strength in the Clinton household...
Bill was a blubbering "good time party guy"(like JFK)...
Bill enjoyed his Sax(and/or sex) too much to run anything properly

I believe when she was appointed SOS she said she would only stay for 1 term

convicted of what?
she is not on trial
it was a House hearing

1: incorrect on count #1 Linda....
politicians speak regardless of gender.
Australia's Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, is a female, she has been on numerous visits to the Mid-East and not been ignored or refused counsel with the Islamic rulers of the eight or nine countries she has visited for diplomatic talks.

2: on count #2:
what can Hillary be really charged with anyway???
of course the Clinton's are "rich", I think you'll find that one of the unwritten prerequisites of being a US President is that you are a millionaire,
the reason being that if you have money youre less likely to need it so you shouldn't be able to be bribed,
of course, as you put it..."clintonites love Clinton", Bush-ites love Bush, Reagan-ites love Reagan, Nixon-ites love Nixon etc etc
so why the Clinton comment, I don't get it???

also....
does a vote for Jeb Bush mean George and "W" will really both become President again???
