^
The album 'Under A Violet Moon' is just a great album and I can only recommend it. I don't have any favorite tracks but the only tune that can't grab me is the tune 'Possum Goes To Prague'. I have been listening to alot of their music and also I do like their album 'All Our Yesterdays' that was released in 2015.

^I listen to them from time to time - funny thing - I like "Possum Goes to Prague" even though it's only really an interlude. The fleet fingered Ritchie at his finest. But as usual - to each their own.

We are more into Irish folk music and that style of music in our end of the country if we are talking about folk music and that.

![]() MARGO PRICE "Midwest farmer's daughter" cd, 2016: Margo's debut set.... signed to Jack White's "third man records"... she either wrote or co wrote every track... vocal style and tones are very similar to Loretta and Patsy on most songs... a classy album of "real country" songs.... Margo has just, by coincidence, just released her follow up album and a new single which I will post shortly.. rom the album, not my favourite track but a good performance from "later...with jools"
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.

![]() NEIL YOUNG "hitchhiker" cd, 2017: another one pulled from the bottom of the pile of new ones.... recorded in 1976 but Neil decided not to release it at that time... all but two of the songs have been previously released as re-worked recordings on other albums (Rust Never Sleeps, Comes A Time, Le Noise, Decade, Hawks And doves and American Stars And Bars)... these on here are the original versions, just Neil with guitar and harmonica... sounds like the songs have been stripped back to their naked, vulnerable selves... an outstanding collection of tracks and if this is the standard of leftover songs in his vault I say "bring 'em on Neil" from the album:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.

![]() PATSY CLINE "crazy: the greatest hits" cd, 2014: the first lady of country..... compilation, two disc set... fifty tracks overall... mainly the singles we all know... brilliant set of REAL country music... its impossible to not post this track when thinking of Patsy:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.

![]() FREAKWATER "Scheherazade" cd, 2016: alt country band from Louiseville, Kentucky... tenth album... initial influence was The Carter Family... can hear that influence on at least half the tracks here... almost bluegrass on a couple of other tracks... not a bad album. from the album, not my favourite track (memory vendor) because that isn't available on YT, so one of the singles instead:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.
