You are very welcome, SteveO! Yes, their sound is maybe a bit different but not that unusual for Swedish music. I only have 4 of their albums including their 'Forever Autumn' album :

Opeth has made some great albums which are worth listening to, but I just only have their album 'Watershed' released in 2008. Another artist I like is Bathory. Bathory was essentially a one-man band, fronted by Quorthon (Tomas Börje Forsberg) and filled out with an endless string of session players who usually only lasted one album. Bathory ended with Quorthon's unexpected death on 7 June 2004.

Heard of Volbeat but never listened to them before really. But I liked this one - at first I didn't get the title, singing in English from the beginning, right - made more sense later on

I really do like the song 'Bible' with the Swedish band Imperiet. One of my favorites with Imperiet is the song 'Fred'(Peace). It is one of their best songs ever made IMO. Just a shame the english version had no success:

Like that song too, but Bibel is to me the better of the two. Wasn't that much into Imperiet, only a few I remember listening to. But remember a lot of great songs by Ebba Grön, Thåströms band before Imperiet... but I'm sure you know them too
