My comment was referring to the title. I actually did not listen to the clip - and after reading your comment, I doubt I should bother. Confusedmile: Life's too short.

back to the original post...

I listened to the whole album...
gets a bit repetitive after a while but it is still ok,
loved your linked track best...
could hear Eminem/D-12 all over it, I guess its a Michigan thing

Checked out the clip and Twiztid is similar to Insane Clown Posse to me. Both of these horrorcore hip hop groups are from Detroit, Michigan too.

I know of the genre thanks to my oldest brother, but I never really got into it myself. I think the song is okay.

i had heard of Insane Clown Posse but never heard them...
checked out a couple of their songs/videos on Youtube,
thought their music and rap style was more in line with Beastie Boys than the Eminem/D-12 sound on Twiztid's new album.

Yeah, Twiztid got their big break being ICP's proteges. Apparently they had a less than amicable split a few years back and Twiztid's been getting some mainstream success as of late.

I used to be a big fan of ICP, and by association Twiztid. Twiztid was always more serious and intelligent it felt like, whereas ICP had a fun little mythological world and some fun dark humor.

I've since grown out of that stage, generally, but every once in a blue moon I find myself going back and listening to some of their stuff. Personally, my favorite from that little niche genre was Boondox, the murdering scarecrow.
