UK song/single charts for week ending 10th February:

Ed Sheeran extended run at Number 1 and 2 on the Official Singles Chart means he sets a new UK chart record this week. The Suffolk singer-songwriter's double release hold their positions for a fifth consecutive week, with Shape Of You at 1 and Castle On The Hill at 2. Shape Of You was downloaded 41,000 times and played 8.14 million times on streaming services to keep its place at the top.
It's the longest time an act had held the Top 2 positions on the Official Chart, overtaking Justin Bieber, who logged four weeks with Sorry and Love Yourself in November/December 2015.

[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Stormzy claims this week's highest new entry with Big For Your Boots (8), matching his previous peak on the chart with Shut Up in December 2015. The track is taken from his highly anticipated debut album Gang Signs & Prayer, which follows on February 24.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, Zayn and Taylor Swift's I Don't Wanna Live Forever - taken from the new Fifty Shades Darker movie, lifts four spots to a new personal best at 9, and Dua Lipa lands her highest charting single to date with Be The One, which lifts one place to Number 10.
Two songs crack the Top 20 for the first time this week, Martin Garrix's Scared To Be Lonely ft. Dua Lipa at 14 (up nine places), and Sage The Gemini's Now And Later rises four places to 17.

Three more tracks make big gains this week: Tinie Tempah's Text From Your Ex ft. Tinashe lifts ten rungs to 24, Train's Play That Song (25) becomes the band's first UK Top 40 hit in five years, and Snakehips' Don't Leave ft. MO moves 39 to 29.
Finally, James Arthur's Safe Inside - the follow up to his Number 1 hit Say You Won't Let Go – makes its Top 40 debut at 34, a climb of 15 places.

UK albums charts for week ending 10th February:

Elbow have scored their second Number 1 record on the Official Albums Chart.Guy, Craig, Pete and Mark's seventh studio album Little Fictions achieved 40,000 combined chart sales to reach the Albums Chart summit for the second time in their careers. Little Fictions follows 2014's The Take Off and Landing of Everything which also peaked at Number 1.
Speaking to OfficialCharts.com about their success, frontman Guy Garvey said: "You always hope that you're going to go up the charts. We've been in the Top 10 six times which is not bad but to be Number 1 is great! The lovely thing about it is that people outside of music understand it. This is the best part about it for us. It makes our parents proud."

Five of Elbow's studio albums have charted in the UK's Top 10 since the release of their first LP in 2001. Their 2013 b-sides collection Dead in the Boot followed suit, peaking at Number 4. Look back at Elbow's chart history here.
Elsewhere in the Top 5, La La Land's soundtrack which was last week's Number 1 drops to two, Little Mix's Glory Days holds firm at 3, Pete Tong's Classic House falls two slots to Number 4, and Ed Sheeran's x continues to perform well ahead of his next release (5).
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Black Star Riders achieve a career best placing with Heavy Fire at Number 6, ahead of Sampha's debut album Process, which starts out impressively at Number 7. Lower Than Atlantis also earn a personal best position at 8 with Safe in Sound, their third Top 40 album.
Lady Gaga makes two appearances in the Top 40 today, fresh from her impressive Super Bowl half-time show performance. Gaga's latest album Joanne rockets a tremendous 77 rankings to Number 11, and her debut studio offering The Fame returns to the Top 40 for the first time since October 2011 at Number 38.
Big Sean is another new entry at Number 12 with I Decided, his highest ever position in the UK. Further down the tally, Bob Marley's Legend rises five to Number 30, and Fleetwood Mac's Rumours rebounds into the Top 40 for a 128th week, up 11 to Number 40.

Australian music charts for week ending 12th February:

It’s week five in the #1 and #2 spots, respectively, for Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Castle On The Hill’. Another week for Sheeran at the top comes after he made a brief promo visit to Australia during the week.
In its third week in the chart, Julia Michaels’ ‘Issues’ moves up seven spots to #7, hitting the top ten for the first time.
A jump of 16 spots puts Snakehips & MØ’s ‘Don’t Leave’ to #12 in its fourth week in the top 50.
Little Mix move up a further eight spots to sit at #13 with ‘Touch’.
A week after debuting at #35, Martin Garrix & Dua Lipa’s ‘Scared To Be Lonely’ leaps 20 spots to #15.
After dropping to #24, Alessia Cara’s ‘How Far I’ll Go’ moves back up seven spots to #17. It previously peaked at #15.
There’s also new peaks for Jon Bellion’s ‘All Time Low’ (#28), Migos’ ‘Bad And Boujee’ (#34), Adele’s ‘Water Under The Bridge’ (#38), The Vamps’ ‘All Night’ (#43) and Jax Jones’ ‘You Don’t Know Me’ (#44).
Debuts:
#33: Imagine Dragons ‘Believer’ – Imagine Dragons score their first solo appearance on the ARIA Singles Chart since 2014 with ‘Believer’. The track is the first single from the band’s forthcoming third album. In between charting with ‘I Bet My Life’ (#36 Nov. ’14) and now, the band joined with Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Logic, Ty Dolla Sign and X Ambassadors for ‘Sucker For Pain’ (#7 Sept. ’16)
#35: Sia ‘Never Give Up’ – The second track from Sia to debut in the top 50 this year. ‘Never Give Up’ comes from the soundtrack to Oscar-nominated Australian film Lion. The singer-songwriter charted in January with ‘Move Your Body’ (#34 Jan. ’17).

Brisbane band Dune Rats has become the second Australian act to hit #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2017, debuting in the top spot with their second album The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit (see below).
Human Nature’s former #1 Gimme Some Lovin': Jukebox Vol. II jumps back up 13 spots to #4 this week as the quartet’s national tour begins. Jukebox re-enters at #50.
In its 133rd week in the top 50, X returns to the top ten at #6 for an 87th week. Its resurgence comes on the back of Sheeran’s promo visit to Australia this week.
With Guns N’ Roses Australian tour up and running, Greatest Hits jumps 14 spots to #10, grabbing a twelfth week in the top ten. Their debut album Appetite For Destruction has re-entered the top 50 at #40.
Bruce Springsteen, another current tourist, has moved up three spots to #18 with Chapter And Verse. His Greatest Hits has also re-entered the chart at #23.
Following her performance at the Super Bowl, Lady Gaga’s Joanne re-enters the top 50 at #25.
Debuts:
#1: Dune Rats ‘The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit’ – With their second studio album, Brisbane trio Dune Rats have scored their first #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit is the follow-up to the band’s self-titled debut (#22 Jun. ’14). Two of the album’s tracks, 'Bullshit' and 'Scott Green', placed at #33 and #34 respectively in the recent Triple J Hottest 100.
The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit is the second Australian #1 album on the ARIA Charts in 2017.
#5: Ocean Grove ‘The Rhapsody Tapes’ – Melbourne metalcore band Ocean Grove make their debut on the ARIA Albums Chart with The Rhapsody Tapes. The band’s first album was written, recorded and produced in the bedroom of drummer Sam Bassal.
#14: Big Sean ‘I Decided.’ – The fourth studio album from Big Sean gives the American rapper a new peak on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to Dark Sky Paradise (#28 Mar. 15) becomes his second top 50 in Australia and features appearances by Eminem, Migos and more.
#16: Elbow ‘Little Fictions’ – Elbow’s seventh studio album becomes their third to chart in the ARIA top 50. Little Fictions comes three years on from The Take Off and Landing of Everything (#12 Mar. ’14)
#20: Pete Tong, The Heritage Orchestra, Jules Buckley ‘Classic House’ – British DJ/producer Pete Tong teams up with The Heritage Orchestra and conductor Jules Buckley to re-imagine classic dance music tracks in a classical setting. Tracks performed include takes on Fat Boy Slim’s ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and Faithless’ ‘Insomnia’.
#28: Sampha ‘Process’ – The debut album from British electronic soul artist Sampha. Prior to the release of Process, Sampha has worked with the likes of Solange, Drake, Frank Ocean, Kanye West, SBTRKT and more.
#32: QSP ‘QSP’ – The debut album from glam rock supergroup QSP. The trio features Suzi Quatro, Andy Scott (Sweet) and Don Powell (Slade). The album’s debut comes as the band completes the first week of its Australian tour.
#34: Original Broadway Cast ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ – The soundtrack to the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen. The show’s composers Pasek and Paul have previously written tracks for La La Land, TV series Smash and the musical version of James And The Giant Peach.

UK singles charts for week ending 17th February:



He's done it again! Ed Sheeran holds onto the Number 1 spot of the Official Singles Chart for a sixth week with Shape of You.One of two lead singles from Ed's third studio album
÷, Shape of You remained on top with 36,500 downloads combined with 8 million streams. Ed's other Top 3 single for the past six weeks Castle on the Hill has now fallen from 2 to Number 3, ending Ed's record-breaking grip on the top two positions.

Ed's five-week spell at Numbers 1 and 2 is the longest consecutive tenure holding both spots on the Official Singles Chart. Justin Bieber is the artist with most non-consecutive weeks; his songs Sorry and Love Yourself have spent 7 weeks in total back-to-back on the singles tally.

Breaking through Ed Sheeran's stronghold this week is Rag'n'Bone Man, whose track Human rebounds from Number 5 to return to its peak position of Number 2. The song has enjoyed a major uplift thanks to the release of his debut album of the same name, and performances of the track on The Graham Norton Show and Sunday Brunch.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Zayn and Taylor Swift's I Don't Wanna Live Forever reaches a new peak of Number 5 following the release of Fifty Shades Darker, the movie that IDWLF is the lead soundtrack single from. The collaboration is Zayn's second Top 5 single and Taylor's seventh.
aty Perry's return to music is off to a solid start, her new Skip Marley-featuring single Chained to the Rhythm debuts at Number 7, becoming KP's 14th Top 10 single in the process. Dua Lipa will also be celebrating this week - Be The One reaches a new peak of Number 9.
Train's fourth Top 40 single Play That Song has climbed four rungs to Number 21, while Rag'n'Bone Man is back again with his second single Skin. The song returns to the Top 40 and lands at a new PB of Number 25, climbing 26 slots.
Finally, Anne-Marie scores her second credited Top 40 single - Ciao Adios is new at 40.

UK albums charts for week ending 17th February:



Congratulations to Rag’n’Bone Man, who celebrates a massive opening week with his debut album Human as it lands straight in at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart.According to Official Charts Company data, the collection shifted a massive 117,000 copies across physical (which made up 67% of his total sales), download and streaming, earning him the fastest-selling debut album by a male act of the decade.
The figure also means Human outsells the rest of this week’s Top 10 combined and gives the soul singer-songwriter – real name Rory Graham – a bigger opening week than debut albums by the likes of Ed Sheeran (+, 2011) and Sam Smith (In The Lonely Hour 2014).
Only three debut acts have sold more in week one since 2010: One Direction’s Up All Night (139k), Rebecca Ferguson’s Heaven (128k) and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ self-titled release (123k), all released in 2011.
Human is also the overall fastest-selling album of the past 12 months, since David Bowie’s Blackstar. The sales also surpass the huge first week numbers of recent Number 1s by The Rolling Stones, Little Mix and Elvis Presley.
Rag ‘n’ Bone Man also enjoys the most explosive start for a BRITs Critics’ Choice Award winner to date, surpassing the opening week sales of previous recipients including Emeli Sande and global phenomenon Adele.

Rag’n’Bone Man tells OfficialCharts.com: “A massive thank you for going out and buying my album, streaming it and making it such a success so quickly. It means the world to me. Number 1 album… smash!”
New entries and high climbers
Rag’n’Bone Man leads seven new entries on this week’s Official Albums Chart Top 40. New at Number 3 are British rockers Thunder with their 11[SUP]th[/SUP] album Rip It Up, and rising Harlesden-born rapper Nines lands at Number 4 with his debut album One Foot Out.
Elsewhere in the Top 10, Adele’s 25 leaps from 9 to Number 6 after sweeping last week’s Grammy Awards, and James Arthur’s Back From The Edge returns to the Top 10 for the first time in three months, up six spots to Number 9.

British rapper Devlin scores a personal best on the Official Chart today, his third album The Devil In opens at 16, and Whitney Houston – who passed away five years ago last Saturday (Feb 11), re-enters at 18 with The Ultimate Collection.
Further down, Saturdays’ singer Una Healy is new at 28 with her debut solo effort The Waiting Game, Celine Dion’s My Love – The Essential Collection returns to the Top 40 for the first time in seven years at 29, and Michael Jackson’s Number Ones is back at 32.

Australian music charts for week ending 18th February: (singles)

For the sixth consecutive week, Ed Sheeran sits at #1 and #2 on the ARIA Singles Chart with 'Shape Of You' and 'Castle On The Hill', respectively.

In its tenth week in the top 50, 'I Don’t Want To Live' Forever jumps one spot back up to its peak position (#3 Dec. ’16).

After dropping to #35, Sia’s ‘Never Give Up’ also moves back up five spots to its original peak position of #30.

There’s also a new peak for Jon Bellion’s 'All Time Low' which jumps up 12 spots to #16.
Debuts:
#4: Katy Perry Feat. Skip Marley ‘Chained To The Rhythm’ (Debut) – It’s the American artist’s first Singles Chart entry for 2017. The track features Skip Marley (grandson of legendary musician Bob Marley) and is co-produced by Max Martin (who produced major hits for artists such as the Backstreet Boys, Britney & NSYNC) and is co-written by Sia. Katy performed the song at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

ALBUMS:


The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the 2017 film Fifty Shades Darker debuts at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The soundtrack to the first film in the trilogy also peaked at #1 in February 2015.

In its thirty sixth week in the top 50, Beyonce’s former #1 ‘Lemonade’ jumps 30 spots back up the chart to #12. Its resurgence comes on the back of her performance and appearance at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

With Guns N’ Roses currently touring the country, their presence on the album chart remains strong, ‘Greatest Hits’ jumps 5 spots to #5 and ‘Appetite for Destruction’ jumps 21 spots to #19. The band also notch up another two re-entries with ‘Use Your Illusion II’ at #33 and ‘Use Your Illusion I’ at #35.

Prince’s ‘The Very Best Of..’ also re-enters the top 50 at #45.

This week’s chart also includes moves for the likes of Sia’s This Is Acting (up 5 to #42), Flume’s Skin (up 6 to #29), Adele’s 21 (up 10 to #28) and Jessica Mauboy’s The Secret Daughter Soundtrack (up 3 to #27).
Debuts
#1: Soundtrack ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ (Debut) – The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the 2017 film Fifty Shades Darker debuts at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Fifty Shades Darker is the second instalment in the Fifty Shades trilogy, and follows the 2015 blockbuster smash Fifty Shades of Grey. The set features the track ‘I Don't Wanna Live Forever’ by Zayn and Taylor Swift which peaked at #3 on December 2016. The soundtrack to the first film in the trilogy peaked at #1 in February 2015.
#2: Thundamentals ‘Everyone We Know’ (Debut) – The fourth full-length studio album from Thundamentals gives the Australian Hip-hop outfit their highest peak on the Albums Chart. ‘Everyone We Know’ is the band’s first release since So We Can Remember (#3 May ’14).
#3: Rag’N’Bone Man ‘Human’ (Debut) - British singer and songwriter Rag’N’Bone Man makes his first ARIA Albums Chart appearance with his debut album ‘Human’. The title track with the same name 'Human' peaked on the ARIA Singles Chart at #17 in January 2017.
#7: Adam Brand ‘Get On Your Feet’ (Debut) - Australian country musician Adam Brand snares his 13th top 50 appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart with his fifteenth studio album ‘Get On Your Feet’. It comes one year on from Adam Brand and The Outlaws which peaked at #6 on January 2016.
#22: Jay UF – Final Notice (Debut) - Australian hip hop artist Jay UF makes his ARIA Album Chart debut with ‘Final Notice’.

#20: Jess and Matt – Belmont Street (Debut) - Sydney pop duo / Australian X-Factor Runners-up Jess Dunbar and Matt Price return with 'Belmont Street’ a 6 track event EP with 5 iconic Australian covers and one original (lead sync track for Sydney DNSW campaign). The duo last charted on the ARIA Albums Chart with ‘Jess & Matt’ their self-titled debut album, which peaked at #9 in December of 2015.

Ed Sheeran dominates the Official Singles Chart this week following a big performance at this week’s BRIT Awards of his latest singles Shape Of You and Castle On The Hill.Shape Of You continues to lead the way on the Top 40, logging a seventh week at Number 1 with 7.37 million streams and 34,000 downloads sold.
Meanwhile, How Would You Feel (Paean) – a track lifted from his upcoming album ÷ (Divide) – is a new entry at 2, and Castle On The Hill is at 4. The Top 5 singles takeover comes ahead of the release of his third album next week, on Friday, March 3.

New entries and high climbers
Elsewhere, Katy Perry’s Chained To The Rhythm gets a boost from her BRITs performance, climbing two spots to 5, while Kygo and Selena Gomez’s brand new collaboration It Ain’t Me opens at Number 9. The entry is Kygo’s second UK Top 10 single and Selena’s third.
Elsewhere, Take That finish at Number 13 with their new single Giants but are this week’s biggest physical seller, shifting 12,000 CDs of the track this week.

Anne-Marie’s Ciao Adios vaults 19 places to 21 this week, and The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s brand new track Something Just Like This – unveiled and released during Wednesday’s BRITs – enters at 30 after less than 48 hours on sale.
Finally, Maroon 5 earn their 19[SUP]th[/SUP] Top 40 single with Cold ft. Future at 32, and Danish DJ Martin Jensen breaks into this week’s Top 40 with Solo Dance at Number 40 five weeks after its release.
