Korn "the serenity of suffering"

Spotify listen:

first complete Korn album ive ever listened to,
seen plenty of live clips of them, liked little bits and pieces
but not enough to ever seek out an album to purchase...
so, the album starts off, some decent metal vocals,
music wasn't as heavy as I remember their earlier material to
consist of...
then it happened, in came the growler, popping his head up
every so often to let us know he is still there...
album might have got a pass mark from me had that guy
not have growled at me....

from the album:

enters the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart this week at #4

courtesy of YouTube

I have a few of this bands early albums and quite like them
at the time they reminded me of early Ministry
Ministry went off the deep end and never came back
this band did come back for me
I agree about the growler
he was not on the early albums that I can recall
hey Oceangirl, help us out

I like this single until he comes in
but that's not till around 3 minutes in

Hahaha growling, huh? I use to listen to Korn, once upon a time. I don't recall much growling in their early stuff either. I will be checking this out.

the new album isn't overloaded with the Growler, but its there, and it comes when you least expect it Ocean...
ive watched a few Korn live performances from various music festivals on tv over the years, and I cannot recall any growls
in what I saw or heard????
they put on quite an energetic stage show, probably good value for fans.
