I have always loved Pink Floyd!!... they are just awesome for what kind of music they do..
I have never found any other artist come eveen close to their style of music.
But I haven't heard many songs of theirs.. maybe 20-30 songs.. Mostly the obviously famed ones..
Just the other day I heard One Slip on the radio.. & I was wondering why I hadn't heard this before..
So I am just asking for guidance for getting to know this awesome band more..
What about the solo works of Gilmour, Barrett & Waters... are they worth listening to.. is it similar in style..
Thanks.

Barrett listen at your own risk
Gilmour and Waters I like both, probably more Gilmour.

I heard some sample of Barrett on his website.. sounds like Pop music..
What's recommendation on Floyd... something I should know or listen to that is probably underrated..

I don't know a bad Floyd album except that last one, Division Bell

Also would like some suggestions for some other bands to be checked out..
I did check out Porcupine Tree as per your suggestion earlier.. I must say they are quite cool, I had heard them few months ago, didn't care much.. but after you suggested them, I think I have grown to be very fond of them.
thanks.

I like the Lips, but don't touch the Floyd.
