What Are You Listening To?
Lovely Linda Wrote:Sorry. I don't get it Bob. Never heard of the term hair band. When did that term come out?
I certainly didn't invent it:

From "The Free Dictionary:
Quote:hair band
n.
...
...

2. A band that plays hard rock or heavy metal, whose performers typically have long, teased-out hair.

I've seen this term used a lot on various music fora, usually referring to long-haired bands that are part of the "New wave of British heavy metal". Robert Plant was probably a pioneer of the look.

Heh, it's cool. There are some new bands I'm getting into and yeah they aren't very well known. Confusedadface:

Currently listening to: Katatonia - For My Demons

Katatonia is a hit or miss band for me it seems.
