her third album.
loved the debut, had a Loretta/Tammy quality about it.
second album was 'blah' for me.
was interested in this one because Sturgill Simpson produced it and im a big fan of his.
a couple of tracks have a Sturgill sound IMO.
the majority just dont seem to go anywhere, theyre more of an Americana sound (and "going nowhere" is an issue with Americana at times).
a couple are genuinely decent tracks but theyre too far apart for me to be able to appreciate this one.
i guess Margo really is a stereotypical 'one trick pony' in my eyes which is a shame because she could be huge in the industry if she had the right songs.
