My name is Eva and I'm from Slovenia (if you happen to know where that is ), so please sorry for my english...

I really love music and I can't imagine my life without it.
I listen to different kinds of music, I especially like Hans Zimmer, James Blunt, The Beatles,...


The main reason why I registered to this forum is to ask you, if you could please listen to this. It would really mean a lot to me.
It's my friend (she is 16) singing "House of the Rising Sun" by The Animals.
She said that you have to know that she was not prepared and that this is not her best performance!

Welcome aboard MD, Eva! I am a huge football (soccer) and hockey fan so I am well aware of Slovenia .lol! I imagine there's lots of snow there unlike Canada!

As for the sound clip, it's good! Is it just your friend singing and playing guitar? What's her name? A video would be better! It adds to the overall presentation...glad you like all sorts of music. I love the Beatles and I like Hans Zimmer...not that familiar with Blunt,,,heard of him many times..so much music out there!

Your friend has a GREAT voice. She should try writing some original material. Imagine how good her voice would sound if it was recorded in a professional studio. Don't know who's playing the guitar but they need to watch their timing.

Well I didn't know that we are that famous because of soccer and hockey. Maybe for the wrong things haha.

Her name is Sonja, but she prefers her artist name "Aveline Gray". She is also playing the guitar. (:
And I know video would be a lot better, but it was recorded with a phone in the middle of the class and she didn't allow me to put a video on youtube.
But it will come soon! (:

And yeah, she also writes her own music and it's really good, but she said that she'll first do some covers and then originals.
