not a huge fan ...maybe because of their excessive touring schedule? I know after I see a concert I automatically go to the artist's catalogue!!!???? Nowadays iTunes are big ..if they account for digital sales that could be a factor also!

maybe because they are currently on a huge world tour, there may be a new generation of fans out there(kids of the original fans) who have jusy/or are about to see them live, and decided to check out their old material,
maybe its been sampled by someone recently(but i cant recall hearing it sampled)
other than that im out of ideas...
unless its featured in a movie soundtrack at the moment, now im thinking which current movie that song could fit into...the new Hunger Games one maybe???

or maybe it simply because its a bloody good song?

This is making the best of your time on camera. Jon BonJovi should have this guy appear on stage with him for this one. Sales for this song have skyrocketed since the video went viral.

I love when old good songs re-emerge. I think young people who need motivation to create new music start listening to the oldies like that. Plus, the song is just super catchy. I still hear people younger than me telling me how much they like the song and they know the lyrics.
