Status Quo have just started advertising a grocery chain here in Australia,, its embarrassing to listen to IMO
a total sell out of self respect for themselves, their art and their back catalogue...sorry guys but you are an embarrassment to rock and roll!
watch it yourselves and comment on your opinions of this terrible "sell out"

only thing worse would have been them doing it in a grocery store
I lose all respect for any personality who resorts to this

I used to think that Status Quo would be great playing in a small venue like my local pub and if they did i would have probably gone down with a couple of friends and had a few beers. But it kind of puts me off when bands sell out and do adverts especially for uncool and mundane things like supermarkets which are often advertised and officially opened by z list boybands and minor celebrities.

apparently Status Quo signed a huge deal with the supermarket in question including their exclusive sale of an ultimate 'best of' set on double cd...
read an interview with then recently and they said the deal should keep them pulling in more than enough money for the rest of their lives, so only god knows what the dael is worth but its gotta be huge!

Like Trace said, they need the money! Their pensions don't cut it!
