Indeed Rusty ! ...whose the gal ?

I figured out why some of us on MD are continuously posting late 60s and 70s music ! Way back when we didn't have the Internet, MD forums, YouTube and the countless other resources we have today to access music ! So therefore via the Internet we can visit our old classic favorites in depth and at the same time discover new artists to us that we missed in the 60s and 70s ! Pretty cool, eh ? We only had maybe 20 albums to choose from monthly even though there were tons of releases we didn't know about due to a lack of music sources. Now it seems there's at least 300 new releases a month...totally overwhelming. I try to listen to the latest artists and at the same time I always go back to the 60s and 70s!

yeah thanks steveO had the band session last night and it was really good all brand new songs in the indie rock style I am really pleased hopefully there is a lot more to come

Just curious, Rusty! What does the genre Indie Rock mean to you ?

To me it means the type of sound which started to happen in the early 90s groups like oasis/ blur/ godfathers emf jesus jones .. and also some of the newer bands like keane and coldplay .. its a certain sound and it is very difficult to define in words..
