Are there any perfect double albums
#1
I'd say "Trout Mask Replica", but "China Pig" sort of messes it up for me. "Blonde on Blonde" is the only one I've got so far, any others

The Beatles - White Album

The Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street

Bob Dylan - Blonde on Blonde

Allman Brothers Band - Live at Fillmore East

The Clash - London Calling

Not quite sure what you define as "perfect " Ibrahim, but these ones are pretty good !

Can't say there are any perfect albums, let alone double albums

I'd agree with Music Head, but in my humble estimation The Wall comes perilously close.

If you don't think there's such thing is a perfect album, then you must not have never heard Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. 40 minutes of pure awesome

OK, I will weigh in here...
Genesis, "Lamb Lies Down On Broadway"... or how about Peter Frampton's "Frampton Comes Alive", or is that considered a greatest hits ablum? No, I have it, "Tommy" by The Who. As already mentioned, The Clash "London Calling" is up there too, along with "The Wall" from Floyd. Also, the combined set "Giant Step/De Ole Folks At Home" by Taj Mahal, oft times considered a single set, (one disc electric, the other not) is a pretty perfect set.
I guess the point is, while none may actually meet the criteria for an absolutely perfect double set, if we grade on a very slight curve, there will be a ton of nominees!
