I think his blending of music and lyrics is genius.

I only have a couple of Eels albums, which I like lots, but haven't explored any further, as with so many artists.

Therefore don't really have enough exposure to make an informed opinion.

Whatever, he's certainly a highly talented writer & musician, but as good as those two ??

I've been listening to EELs with Strings and the songs he picked for that type of show are great. If you don't have that album check it out.
