After reading a few threads, I wanted to introduce myself to this community. I look forward to sharing ideas with other forum members about bands in the 1980s..

Fortunately, Duran Duran was here last month and I was able to see them. Still, my passion is for INXS and was able to see and meet Michael during their final tour.

Best regards,

Richard

Hello Richard,

nice to meet you, welcome to the forum.

I'm not a great fan of either band, unfortunately, but do have an affection for some great 80s bands:

- Magazine

- Jesus & Mary Chain

- Smiths

- Depeche Mode

etc.....

Thanks for the reply.

It seems that the 1980s pop is making a good comeback. In Costa Rica, the majority of the stations play 80s music. Very few play the hits of today.

A lot of people think that the 80s was a bad period for music, but I feel that a lot of great music was made. Much of what I love in music originates from the 80s.

Tiggi,

I may get teased, but when I listen to the new wave pop, I remember some of the best times of my life. In my car, it's my radio and my choice, period.
