I'm Doug and I'm hoping to learn a thing or two and share whatever knowledge I have with those unfortunate enough to know even less than I do.
I have been composing electronica for a couple years now. Before that my thing was visual art.. drawing and painting mostly. I'm mostly into ambient, acid jazz, jazz, downtempo, and triphop, but I also enjoy classical, rock, alternative, and some pop, opera, funk, soul, black gospel, and I'm sure there are other genres I also listen to but am not thinking of at the moment.
C yall in the forums.

Good to see you here Doug.
Since you're into electronic music please head to the Electronic board and share your favorites from last year in the "best of 2009" thread.

Hi!
It seems inappropriate for me to welcome you since you joined first (so I won't

) but I was just wondering what your "tools of the trade" are so to speak for your music that you compose! I too am very interested in composing electronic music although, admittedly, am fairly new to it!
