Hi friends
Yes, the professional pianists are excellent in piano. Pianists also offer an experienced and matured level of musical versatility that is quite unmatched by contemporary musicians. Having piano music is quite nostalgic, and since it is very classy, the more mature guests will also appreciate the music and shake a leg. A professional pianist is able to play different kinds of music such as classical, jazz, ragtime, rock, blues, swing and many more.

Unless those pianists are inside the piano, banging on the strings with mallets (an intriguing concept, to be sure), the way to say it is "pianists on piano". The rest of the Post doesn't warrant comment.

Every now and then we see some pointless posts on the forum. This one at the top beats them all.
You ask the question - are professional pianists excellent in piano? Well if they are PROFESSIONAL obviously they must be good at it otherwise they cannot call themselves professional in the first place. It's not rocket science.
But then you provide the answer yourself - so why bother asking the question at all if you have already decided the answer?
To say their musical versatility is unmatched by contemporary musicians is complete nonsense - there are many contemporary musicians who are just as versatile and some who are talented, multi-instrumentalists as well. Take off your blinkers...

Just because they are professional (which means they are able to get someone to pay them money for their playing) doesn't necessarily mean they are good.

I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but all this post was was simply a simple "insight" (if you can call it that) to say that pianists are good at piano, with the title answering itself. As JeromeD said, if someone is a professional at something, then obviously they're good at it; the whole point of a professional is someone who's highly qualified in their role.
So I don't think this post requires any further discussion, especially a decade later.

Sure thing - just reading through everything I've missed here over the years.
