It's Only Solitaire while serving the Queen And Country and being off to Bungle In The Jungle and do my duty as a War Child, leaving my Ladies back home to argue with the Sealion and hope for The Third Hurrah which would indicate that the remaining Back Door Angels had only Two Fingers to cross while they were Skating Away On The Thin Ice Of The New Day.

Songs from the Wood

Simply and outstanding album. They nailed many of the tracks from this album on the live album "Bursting Out!".

My second choice was "Broadsword" which Ian Anderson flat-out hates, but I like it quite a bit. "Squirrels" is just crazy-cool!

Thick As A Brick gets my vote. Although released as an Ian Anderson album Thick As A Brick II is pretty good as well.

Songs from the Wood.

I think Thick As a Brick, while it has some brilliant bits, is overblown and over-rated. Of that period, I prefer both Benefit and Minstrel In the Gallery.

From their later period, I really like the Broadsword and the Beast. I'm not familiar enough with all their albums to say whether that's their best "later" album.
