I love pretty much all of them since I'm a bonified Beatlemaniac!!!!,,,lol..My "favourite" changes from minute to minute , hour to hour, day to day, week to week, month to month, year to year, decade to decade,,,,here's one of their many masterful songs that I have always been amazed with,,,remember it was released in 1967! When I first heard it in the summer of 67 I was flabbergasted with emotion and excitement! There was and is no band that compares in pop rock music history in my humblest opinion!

The Long and Winding Road with strings. Paul McCartney gives a very emotional vocal performance on this track and the strings make it even better. I do not like the 'Naked' version at all.

I would pick ...maybe "I've Just Seen A Face" or "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party" which...this specific transition of the Beatles didn't last very long. Possibly it lasted a year and a half beginning with " Beatles For Sale", "Help" and ending with Rubber Soul. All 3 are acoustic guitar oriented and the songwriting had taken a step forward. Revolver contained less acoustic guitar in a "Folk" music vain and that expanded to the lengths of Sgt. Pepper. By this point in time, you knew their acoustic side would be revisited on The White Album, but not in the same vain stylistically as "No Reply" or even the electrified "Baby's In Black". This was a very unique short lived period for The Beatles that was more musically advanced than the Beatlemania Hard Day's Night or With The Beatles...yet it is distant from the level of Sgt. Pepper. It's a period that remains in limbo. I believe they were influenced by Bob Dylan, but the songs of this period were very unique and they had a great originality about them.
