This topic may have been addressed here previously, but here's a 3/4-page article on how and where music for country folk originated (in the Travel section, no less, encouraging folks to visit the area)--some marvelous photos of real people, making and enjoying real music. Not hokey stuff at all, as anybody going a true barn dance will assure you--you'll get swept up in it.
