a little bit about me

i'll keep it short and simple because i doubt a lot of people read these posts

i'm new to the music scene, with a wide range of interests from rap to rock, a little bit of classical to jazz and blues.

i prefer older music, i find the new age musicians, especially main stream ones, lack substance and passion playing purely for people and their money instead for themselves (apologies if i've offended anyone).

i joined this website to talk about music and expand my library. i'm hoping that with help i can expand my library to include the corner stones of any essential albums needed in a music lovers collection as well as a lot of none mainstream artists that hold on to the true values of music

I'd take issue with you that today's musicians don't measure up. I think there are plenty out there with integrity intact, we all just need to find them...

my focus was more on main stream musicians... and what you said is true, there are musicians with integrity, thats why i'm here lol... i want to find them

I hear you regarding mainstream acts, although I do like some of them...

I guess recommendations will depend to some extent on the sort of stuff you like.
