The only possible way to have one favorite singer is to listen to only one genre/sub-genre and have 1 someone so appeal to you that all others stand dim in the shadow. My list of favorite singers, even by the loosest of categories, would fill a page. You haven't even touched on gender of the singer (if discernible--see SYLVESTER e.g.) This also lends no credence that singers can grow and change. Besides, favorite technical singer (Opera tenors win this one hands down)? Or ones that deliver a lyric in the most appealing manner to you (that everybody else thinks is a yawn)? I well understand that this can only be subjective, not objective.
BTW, if you think a singer is Da Bomb, why not link a few songs to to convince us weary and wary?
