Hip Hop violin? please help!

I've been looking for this violin music that I like but can't seem to find it anywhere or even what the genre is. A good example is the violin solo at the end of Kendrick Lamar's- Don't Kill My Vibe : http://youtu.be/qNoPux9j7VU
This is a cover of it done by someone else.

Usually when I search for it I come up with artists like Miri Ben Ari and Black Violin but that's more of a Hop-Hip type feel. I was thinking of more of a smooth R&B type track.
I just want to know if it's out there. Is there an artist that has there on album or singles with this type of music and No voice overs? Just pure instrumentals? Please help me!

That's a tough request! Most of the violinist I enjoy listening to are all in orchestras. The only song that springs to mind is Broken Sorrow by Nuttin' But Stringz, but even that is slightly hip-hop themed and has a voice over in the intro. Will keep an ear to the ground and share when I hear somethin similar to what you're lookin for.
