this is very interesting Bonn Scott was in a band called fraternity before he joined AC/DC this is totally different more hippified prog rock thanheavy metal but it shows how versatile Bonn Scott was as a vocalist.

WOW! Totally surprised at the empty thread! This is really interesting! I didn't know about this lad's situation before AC/DC!
Thanks for the thread!

mrrusty....
as my profile shows i come from Perth Australia...the home of Bon Scott, to be frank, i was never a big fan of his, much prefer the Brian Johnson era of AC/DC, but thats my opinion...
but yeh, Bon was around a long time prior to joining AC/DC...
were you also aware that the young brothers also had an older brother who was in a band called The Easybeats back in the mid 1960s, i think their big hit over there in the UK was "friday on my mind" from memory....it was after the breakup of the Easybeats that the older brother went to the "albert records" execs and said..."my two younger brothers are in a great little band, you guys should take the time to listen or ga and see them"...and the rest is history!
interesting to note that Easybeats leadsinger Stevie Wright was admitted to hospital in /sydney yesterday after suffering a massive seizure due to major problems with his lungs, stomach, liver and kidneys...not surprising really as he battled with drugs and alcohol all his life, it will be a sad day for Aussie music if and when Stevie goes up to Rock And Roll heaven...
here is a link for my favourite Stevie Wright solo track, hope you enjoy it mate as im sure you will...
