BAND OF SKULLS "sweet sour"
never heard of these guys but this is their third album apparently.
hailed in the UK press as being Englands answer to The White Stripes and i guess some of the sounds on this one
could be described as White Stripes sounding..some real indi guitar crunching in parts followed by some folky harmonising
in other quieter tracks, vocals are a bit off-beat at times similar to White Stripes also, look nothing on here i can
truly say that i love and a couple i simply dont like at all, but it does have the sounds to grow on me,again, much like The
White Stripes do also.
so i would say that if you are a fan of Jack and Meg White that this album is possibly right up your alley so go buy it, youll
love it, i however(even though i own all the Stripes albums) are a bit hesitant to say ii like it at the moment,
thus this one gets a borderline score of
1.7 from me,this time round.

On the listen to list ! Seems a little heavier than White Stripes but it's very good ! I seem to favour bands with female vocalists and female vocalists in general. Thanks, Crazy !

A friend of mine got me into Band of Skulls last year by convincing me there very Led Zepplin-y which I can see. Either way they're a great rock band
Sometimes I lay under the moon and thank God I'm breathing.
And I pray "Don't take me soon "cause I am here for a reason"
Sometimes in my tears drown but I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds, I know someday, it'll all turn around.
