Writing on the wall were originally called The jury they came from Edimburgh and then moved to london.
in 1967 they made a single (wotds and music/peter gun)... in 1969 they made album power of picts .
the music was hard rock/hippie/psycadelia in the style of uriah heep an the gods. some times the vocal style owed a bit to Arthur brown.
they carried on playing until 1973
