Hello everybody. I haven't posted on here in quite awhile. Well I am desperately seeking all kinds of new music so I am posting a thread in each genre asking for your recommendations!
I have many metal head friends and they have convinced me to go to Mayhem Fest this summer. Now although I do not dislike metal, I have not explored metal to it's fullest. I am very excited for Rob Zombie but aside from that I am unfamiliar with many of the bands there. Please enlighten me, give me your favorite songs by bands in the Mayhem lineup or even just give me your favorite Hard Rock and Metal bands in general. Thank You!

i like Aussie band Airbourne quite a lot...sort of a modernised AC/DC IMO, and very good, theve only released a couple of albums, got 'em both and like 'em both!

I have actually heard of Airbourne. I loved their first album, wasn't a big fan of the follow up. Thank you for the suggestion!

OPETH...are my favorite of the so called hard rock metal genre ! I also like Blut Aus Nord...a lot of clean vocals with intelligent music !...enjoy Mayhem !
