Back in 2009 I found this forum. I was looking for a place where I could chat with music lovers and musicians without all of the riff raff that I found on Myspace forums.
When I got all signed up and registered....it seemed like the hardest place in the world to navigate. I pretty much was not allowed to go anywhere. So I just figured there were lots of problems with the site, went on to other things, and forgot all about it.
2 days ago I got an email. It had all of these new changes added to the Music Forum. It was Facebook friendly.....yadda yadda yadda. I had no idea what the hell this email was talking about or who it was from. So I clicked on the related links (none of them work by the way guys The facebook one and music discussion one). I was ready to just delete the message from my mail. For whatever reason I clicked on the other one that I had not and voila....it brough me here. Ahhhh....I remember this place! So now....either you made it easier to get around, or I've gotten smarter (not likely). None the less....I am now here. So I will try and stick around and hopefully have some great discussions with some of you folks.
I am a musician of many many years. I Currently live in Arizona and perform at guest ranches and resorts. I am a studied and trained musician. And oddly enough...I am not by nature a people person. Through years and years of performing, I have learned to go on auto pilot when playing at gigs. But personally, I am not the most pleasant guy on earth.
So that's about it. I look forward to hearing from some of you folks. I'm glad that whoever emailed me did.
