not sure about the rest of the world, but here, all we hear about on the oldies stations is how good Sinatra was but never how good Dean Martin was.
IMO, Dean was a far better crooner and a better actor also, i dont think Ole blue Eyes had much talent at all. and i cannot stand "new york, new york" or his version of "my way". even Bing and Sammy Jnr were better vocalists than him.

maybe everyone was too scared to say he sucked because the Mafia would make them dissapear.
your opinions please.

Put him in a bar ....................................Make it three in the morning...................provide a piano player ......................and let him tell you how some girl just left him........................
Deno would never even get a second look from that girl.......................she was out of his class
Now that's Frank!
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

Personally, I love them both. And I refuse to say one is better then the other lol... Entertainers like them don't exist anymore!

I have a lot of time for Sinatra's body of work, but haven't been exposed to much Martin. I think from what I've heard that I'd come down in the Frank camp.

Just the voice, I have to go with Dean, so smooth.
A couple of other crooners I would put up there, Perry Como and Al Martino.
None of these come close to the output of Frank.
For that reason he would get the vote of most.

i forgot about Perry Como...havent heard enough of Al Martino to comment on him though.
i think you've hit the nail on the head with the 'output' comment.
