In a similar vein to One Quiet Night, except this album was recorded on an acoustic baritone guitar with nylon strings made especially by luthier Linda Manzer. It sounds so complete – amazing - like a string quartet, all on its own. Of the 12 tracks, 6 are covers – reimagined the Metheny way. It’s a lovely listen – mellifluous playing by an absolute master. A good album for cooking to, LOL! Had some friends over for dinner and spent the day prepping, with this album on repeat. All turned out really well so I guess that is a positive endorsement!
