Hello people.
Can u give me some rock music albums to check out? Almost any kind will do, from mainstream to authentic, i'm not that fussed. I'm trying to get into it, but only have a limited amount i know of now.
Much obliged.

CP has learned from a recent request for Downtempo suggestions.
Asking for Rock suggestions is even more open-ended. It is like saying "I'm visiting Europe for the first time. Where should I go?"
But if you really are completely new to rock it may be best to start with the classics. Check out the album polls going on in the own sub-forum under General Music. Try any of the albums that people have voted for.

I am likely to recommend classic ones rather than modern rock but :
Led Zeppelin two
Who Do We Think We Are ........Deep Purple
Electric Ladyland.......................Jimi Hendix
Queen 2
Exile On Main St.......................Stones
Try A Doors Album
Milder ones
Took A Long Time..............Magna Carta
Roll On Ruby......................Lindisfarne
Brothers In Arms...............Dire Straits
see what you think!
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )
Insect Warfare, 324, Discordance Axis. There you go!

Great question. Lets start with some classics. First off, Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon. Originally released in the 70's but still occassionaly hits Billboard's Hot 100 album listing. Secondly, AC DC - Back in Black. The first album released after Bon Scott's untimely death. Thirdly, Fleetwood Mac - Rumours, nearly every side charted.
Actually, this list could go on for days. Those three will get you started. Three acts with three distinct sounds. You will love them all.
