Hello music fans. I make music and write my own lyrics. I mainly specialize in hip hop and alternative, with mixtures of pop. I also sometimes do dubstep or electronica songs for the people who like that stuff. Check out my channel here:

Yup. Many talented teams execute music in this style.
I like these albums:
Korn - Take a look in the mirror (but dirty texts spoil general impression)
Slipknot - Iowa,
Slipknot (other albums
like "9.0: Live", "All Hope Is Gone" and etc. are unhealthy:biggrin

An influence? Definitely. But Sepultura aint Nu-Metal.. You have to exclude RATM from there too.. These bands have kicked ass and existed long before the genre ever "existed".. But in fairness to Nu-Metal though, it was really a great time when it was just starting.. It was fresh, so to speak.. But by 2000/01/02, it got milked to death such that there was a time where you would almost throw up if you hear one more band combining all these sounds that Nu-Metal combines..
I have to make a case for SOAD though.. I dont think they're Nu-Metal.. I heard Lars Ulrich calling their music "crazy music" though..=) peace out!

Oh and yeah, Do u like Nu-Metal? Well, Not all of it..
I can't stand most of what gets called Metal or Nu-metal or any other kind of metal.
I make an exception for certain prog-metal, but only if the "metal" part is a relatively minor component of the music. that is, I can take slightly metallic prog, rather than slightly proggy metal.

The genre "metal" has been hackneyed and kicked around so much lately! When I think of metal I think of bands like Metallica, Black Sabbath (with Ozzy..Dio was more into prog)), Led Zeppelin (very heavy at times), Converge(Jane Doe album!),Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Slipknot(love to see them live!),, Machine Head the band not DP's album, bands like that! I equate heavy metal to loud hard music. Unfortunately all of the bands mentioned are older and have been around for decades except for Slipknot, Converge and Machine Head.
There seems to be a thin line nowadays between hard rock and metal. The genres are intertwined and let's face it there are far too many heavy metal genres!
