Paul McCartney "pure McCartney"

Spotify listen:

I didn't really need to hear this one, I own all the tracks except
for one (hope for the future).
it comes in a 2cd or deluxe 4cd set...
one contains 39 tracks, the other almost 70....
a compilation covering his extensive solo career...
all the big ones are on it from his Wings period...
the hits from the 1980s are also on it...
then it becomes a bit foggy...
not for me because im a huge an, but for the listener
who may not really know too much about his music over the last 35 or so years...
but the songs/singles they chose to include for the latter part of his solo career
fit in well with the earlier so called "classic years"...
there are several tracks I may have left of it and swapped them with several others
that I thought deserve to be on it, but hey, that's opinion, and everybody
has their own opinion of what should be included on a set like this...
they also include one of his experimental tracks under the moniker The Fireman....
I don't need to buy this but i'd recommend the 4cd set of almost
70 tracks if you can afford it to get a broad overview of the musical genius that is
Sir Paul McCartney
for the benefit of this exercise I will pick a track that may be new to some of you
instead of the usual "jet", "another day", "ebony and ivory", "say say say" ones we all
know and presumably love?!?!?

from the album: ("one of my personal favourite songs/singles by him!)

Macca still valid even after 54 years!
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

That's a good song - except that I find the speeded-up ending a bit pointless.

I agree bob_32,
the 'jam', 'knees up', 'letting his hair down', 'having some fun' bit at the end is pointless, but hey, its McCartney and somewhere there is method in his madness,
well,
its him and Ringo having a laugh
