(1) Yes, that's my opinion and it was labeled as such...but it's shared by a whole bunch of people
(2) Quite the opposite: I learn more every day from a wide variety of sources, and the more I learn, the more I know that I'll never know all that much
(3) Of course I am--I wouldn't have it any other way--"minority" doesn't mean it should be disrespected.
Have a nice day.

CRAZY-HORSE Wrote:The only horror movie that has ever scared me was the original "evil dead"'....the original "exorcist" and "the omen" were freaky also....
Ooops, forgot to add "the ring" to that short list.

Cute story Reb! Thanks for The Conjuring reference!
rebelgirl Wrote:Cute graphic Steve!! If I can find The Conjuring I will put it on here. I've seen many many horror movies but none including The Exorcist has touched me like The Conjuring. It even scared the crew who were here. The girls would not even watch there own movie. I don't know much about Metal. That's one type of music I have never really got in contact with....Hi nuke-tan. Glad you are enjoying HalloweenConfusedmile: That was my Dad's Birthday. He would have been 82 had he lived. We used to have some wild parties....A little Halloween story from my neice when she was little. She went to my Uncle's church one night. Well, her Mom had already bought her a Halloween costume and she was looking forward to going Trick or Treating. My Uncle at his church would have Fall festivals but told the kids they could dress in costumes as long as they were not "evil costumes". My Uncle said you (the kids) don't have to go Trick or Treating you can come to church. My little neice at the time who was so looking forward to going Trick or Treating stood up in the front of the church and said YES WE DO!!!! Everyone laughed. She has a child of her own now and is the neice whose house was and maybe still is haunted.

Halloween has evolved into a sort of holiday for all ages! I guess people like to dress up these days! It's my youngest daughter's favourite time of the year!...costumes and par tee!!! She thinks Christmas is too commercialised...who can argue with that...she spends very little ..gives out practical gifts, and baked goods !!!...I love it...and she does a fabulous vegetarian scoff every Christmas Eve...I am not a vegetarian but with the right spices it is very tasty! Her Greek Salad with fruit, Spring Rolls. fried rice, and falafel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falafel are yummy! Just thought I would get off the Halloween theme I guess inadvertently!..lol...sorry!

You are right about Halloween Steve. The adults enjoy it just as much as the kiddies whether it be for the costumes, parties, movies, or reese cups  My favorite is snickers, crackle, and reese cups  I also agree about Christmas!! It has almost lost it's meaning. Too much money being spent!! I think the kids should get toys but alot of the money is being spent on adults also and we get in debt. I have been guilty of that. That menu sounds delicious Steve!!
