Dunno really liking stuff on sytematic
Marc Romboy vs Stephan Bodzin - Atlas is ringing my bell at the moment also really love but not sure if techno is the hot chip remix of the junior boys tune "in the morning"

Sandstorm and Alice Deejay's Better Off Alone (the song you're thinking of perhaps?) aren't "techno". They're "pop-trance".
