There are some Zappa fans here though... I have about 30 Zappa discs, from The Mothers thru his classical tuff... Captain Beefheart, Jean-Luc Ponty, all 6 stage discs... so let me add my welcome too!

Yeah I've been listening to a lot of the instrumental jazzy stuff from Hot Rats and Waka/Jawaka and a little bit of Joe's Garage.

Joe's Garage is my favorite "commercial" disc from Zappa. He was an amazing musician. Now if I could only convince my wife of that fact...

Zappa is surely beyond catagories, being a guitar wielding zany hero. Zappa is a catagory I think. Nice tash by the way
