this is my problem with the term modern country
Wow, I thought that I was alone on this matter. I know that I may be alone on it at another forum that I go to.
God bless you always!!!

I do however wish that she had picked another song to sing because to me, she sounded like she was trying to blend in with everyone else who was there which in my opinion is a sheer and severe slap in the face to country music. If she wants to rock, she can't be stopped. All that I ask is that she not label herself country if her intention is to sing something else.
God bless you and Miranda always!!!

To me, Miranda came off that night as a misleading liar who I think should be brought up on false advertisement charges if such a thing were possible. She was supposed to represent country music and that is what she delivered and probably so that she wouldn't be left out by those that a country singer should know better than to have anything to do with in the first place? Traitor.
God bless you and those who are not ashamed of their country roots always!!!

P.S. In my opinion, a show like the Grammy awards is not the time or the place for a country singer to turn their back on country when country already does not get a fair shake during the show and to me a country singer should not have to "loosen up" just to get that fair shake. You may serve more people if you water down the soda, but when the dust finally settles, will the drink be any better then? No. It will only be worse because a good deal of the quality will then be a thing of the past.
